Candidate Privacy & AI Notice

Last updated: October 23, 2026

The short version. When you apply through LatamCent, we keep your application and CV, and we record some of our calls with you. We use AI to transcribe those calls, summarize them and score things like your English and technical skills. Our AI phone screens are recordings of you talking with an AI voice agent, and we delete those recordings after 30 days.

You can ask to see your data, fix it, delete it, or have a person review an AI score. Use the request form or email info@latamcent.com. We reply within 5 days.

1. Who we are and what this covers

LatamCent (350 Lincoln Road #303, Miami Beach, FL 33139) is a recruiting company that connects professionals in Latin America with companies in the United States. This notice is for people who apply to roles through us or talk to us about job opportunities, wherever you live. It covers what happens to your information during recruiting. Our general privacy policy covers website visitors and clients.

2. What we collect

  • What you send us: your name, contact details, CV, LinkedIn profile, location, salary expectations and answers to application questions.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: interviews with our recruiters and AI phone screens. Our application form explains that these calls are recorded and analyzed with AI. If you don't want that, please don't submit an application.
  • What we write about you: recruiter notes, call summaries and scores, including AI-generated ones.
  • Basic records of our contact with you: emails, scheduling and where you are in the process.

We don't ask for, and don't want, information about health, religion, ethnicity, immigration status or similar sensitive topics. Please leave these out of your CV and answers.

3. How we use AI

We use AI in three places:

  • CV screening: an AI model compares your CV with the job requirements and gives a match score.
  • AI phone screens: you speak with an AI voice agent that asks set questions about your experience. The call is recorded and transcribed.
  • Summaries and scoring: AI turns call transcripts into a written summary and scores for things like English level, communication and technical fit.

The roles we recruit for are with US companies, and you'll work with their teams in English every day. That's why spoken English is a requirement and one of the things we score. The AI phone screen doesn't lower your English score for a slow start. If you need a minute to warm up, that's fine.

AI scores can be wrong. They can misjudge an accent, a bad connection or a nervous moment. In most cases a recruiter reviews the AI output before deciding. In some early screening steps, a low AI score can lead to a "not moving forward" result without a recruiter reviewing the full call. If that happens to you, you can ask for a person to review it, and we'll do that before treating the decision as final.

We don't use AI to identify you from your voice or face, and we don't allow your data to be used to train AI models.

4. Who sees your data

Our recruiting team sees your data. When we put you forward for a role, the client company gets your profile and our written feedback about you. We don't send clients your recordings or AI scores.

We also use a small number of software providers to run our recruiting, for things like applicant tracking, call recording and AI processing. They handle your data on our behalf and can't use it for their own purposes. Some of them store data in the United States.

We don't sell your data and we don't share it for advertising.

5. How long we keep it

DataHow long
AI phone screen recordings and transcriptsDeleted after 30 days
Summaries, scores, notes, CV and applicationKept so we can consider you for future roles, until you ask us to delete them
Records we must keep by law (for example, records of hiring decisions)As long as the law requires

You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what data we hold about you and send you a copy, including your AI summaries and scores and an explanation of how they were produced.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your data. We delete it from our systems and ask our software providers to delete their copies. If a client already has your profile, we tell you which one, so you can contact them as well.
  • Have a person review an AI score or an automated screening result.
  • Stop using AI on your application, or withdraw consent to recording for future calls.
  • Stop contacting you about new roles.

Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

There are a few limits. We may keep records the law requires us to keep, and we can't recall information already sent to a client company. In those cases we explain exactly what we kept or couldn't delete.
