Camila Orantes
IT Talent Partner
About me
With a deep passion for people and technology, I specialize in IT recruitment, helping top-tier talent find exciting career opportunities in the ever-evolving tech industry.
I worked for 7 years in a fast-growing AI startup and now I help Latam Talent connect with US companies.
Outside of work, I love going to concerts. There’s nothing like the energy and creativity of live music to bring joy and inspiration.
Here’s a fun fact about me: I can play the transverse flute. It’s an instrument that has deepened my love for music and the arts.
How did you discover your passion for recruitment?
My journey in recruitment began after earning my degree in Computer Science, where I developed a keen interest in the dynamic and ever-growting tech industry.
This passion led me to specialize in IT recruitment, allowing me to bridge the gap between innovative companies and skilled professionals.
What kinds of roles do you focus on?
In my role, I focus on sourcing and placing candidates in various IT positions, including:
- MLOps
- AI Engineers
- System architects
- And more
I’m drawn to these roles because they play a key part in driving innovation and advancing technology. Finding and supporting talent in these areas helps organizations stay competitive and adapt to the ever-changing tech world.

What’s next for Latam candidates in IT roles at US companies?
The future is promising for Latin American candidates in IT roles within US companies.
With the rise of remote work and the increasing recognition of diverse talent pools, many US companies are actively seeking skilled IT professionals from the Latam region.
This trend is opening up numerous opportunities for cross-border collaboration and career advancement.
